The street pictured as "17th Street Canal Breach" is not of the breach itself, but a street several blocks away. I could not bear to go to the breach itself.
I do know one lady who lived right at the breach. She told me all that remains of her house is 3 bricks.
The actual Canal Breach is where water came over the banks and into the city.
